We needed you guys in April. I'm part of a non profit organization and one of the Middle school Respect Club students from Missoula Montana who came up with the idea for getting a day dedicated to diversity on behalf of the Non-Discrimination Ordinance that was under criticism about being passed to protect LGBTQ folks from discrimination in the work place and in public. Between 700-900 people showed up for our rally an hour before the hearing for the ordinance. You all would have been perfect there! Signs read “FLUSH THE FEAR” attacking a local group who thought the ordinance would allow pedophiles in the bathrooms of the opposite sex to rape little kids. Maybe your signs would have helped our cause! I'm so bringing this idea to the group next year :) If you all don't mind that is! <3

I'm with you. But Fred isn't hiding his sexuality. It's his spirituality he's hiding. He thinks posing as a Christian will get him into God's heaven! i want so badly to attend a counter-protest against these people. i used to want to make a meaningful sign, but they can't be reasoned with haha so the humorous signs are so brilliant. it makes their bullshit even more obviously a joke.

This is sheer brilliance. Jesus said the world will know you're my followers by your love. I think humor is a great way to show love and difuse the hate that groups like Westboro promote.

I want to know when the next one is… I'll road-trip it to get there if I have to.

PS… the “Wash Clothes, Not Brains” idea is fantastic! I want a shirt or bumper sticker that says that.
